GO WITH GOD: As the first album of Tuluyhan
Uğurlu composed when he was a student, Go With God was his first
step in departing from classical music to generate his own
music. The album consists of live concert recordings and shows
samples of Tuluyhan’s search for his own path, without departing
from the influences of classical composers. This album is also
important, as it is the first one of his philosophical

VERSES FROM THE HOLY BOOK1: Tuluyhan Uğurlu continuously gives concerts and
is shown among new age artists respected in Europe. He extends his frontiers
even further with this album and presents certain verses from holy books
with his own interpretation. Occasional shifts to musical tones draws
attention. One of the two features of this album of Tuluyhan is that, the
main themes of the soundtrack of the movie Istanbul Under My Wings, which
was to be shot two years later, were first used here. Also, one of the most

ISTANBUL UNDER MY WINGS: It is the first soundtrack of Tuluyhan Uğurlu. He
has used the piano and instruments from Turkish music together for the first
time in this album, electronic instruments have been used in some parts of
the album, new experiments have been attempted and successful work was
achieved in the new age style. The movie depicts the tragic story of
Hezarefen, who used wings to fly over Istanbul in the 17th
century. The music with lyrics, named Love, used in the movie and the
instrumental work named Istanbul drew wide attention and thus took their
place among the classics of Tuluyhan Uğurlu. |

VERSES FROM HOLY BOOKS 2: After drawing wide attention in Turkey with
Istanbul Under My Wings, a new album is requested from Tuluyhan and the
another live album is made consisting of his recent local and overseas
concerts. In this work that drew wide attention, Tuluyhan not only
interprets the Quran, but also the Torah and the Bible. The verses he is
interested in, are the verses in all three books regarding the universe. In
this album, Tuluyhan forces the boundaries of his own music and performs
local melodies in a universal dimension. 1997/BMG

MUSTAFA KEMAL ATATÜRK AND SOLDIERS OF THE SUN: The work that Tuluyhan Uğurlu
prepared for the 75th anniversary of the Republic of Turkey,
consists of 21 parts and depicts the foundation of Turkey. The work was
prepared in the new-age style and was sponsored by Bosch. The symphonic work
conducted under studio facilities also includes two piano works. 1998/ODEON

TEARS OF THE CITY: In the work of art that was prepared following the
great earthquake in 1999, Tuluyhan Uğurlu takes into consideration the
earthquake from different perspectives. The work that starts in a
dramatic manner, depicts hopes of people who have to keep on living

TIME IN BEYAZIT: The Istanbul University, one of the oldest universities in
the world and the Beyazıt State Library, the first library in Turkey with
500 years of past, are depicted in the solo piano album of Tuluyhan Uğurlu,
in which some works have been recorded live. In this work, Uğurlu depicts
the Beyazıt Square as the place where light and knowledge is born.

SYMPHONY TURK: Symphony Turk, the first symphony of Tuluyhan Uğurlu, is a
giant work of 50 minutes. Symphony Turk, the Mehter Band, which is the first
military band in the world and ethnic Anatolian instruments have been used

WORLD CAPITAL CITY ISTANBUL: The most recent album of Tuluyhan Uğurlu, the
World Capital Istanbul, has been offered for sale in March 2006 and it
depicts all the colours of Istanbul throughout millenniums, from a modern
perspective. The work uses high studio techniques and piano and ethnic
instruments unite to generate a symphonic sound. Details
